Arthur D. ``Art'' Starr Jr., 53, died April 7, 1995, in Sentara Bayside Hospital.
He was born in Connecticut. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 26 years and was currently working for C.F.S.I. for the past nine years. Art was a Vietnam veteran and member of the Fleet Reserve Association.
Survivors include his wife, Miyoko M. Starr; and a sister, Sally Ann Wiodorski of Farmington, Conn.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. Warren Wilson. Burial will be private at a later date. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
