FANNIE B. REID

Fannie Belle Reid, 65, of the 200 block of Mendel Court, a homemaker, died April 6, 1995, in her residence.

Mrs. Reid was born in Sussex County, Va. She formerly worked for Norfolk City Schools for 10 years, was the widow of William Reid Jr., and was a member of Basilica of St. Mary Immaculate Conception Church, St. Mary's Women's Club and Providence Square Civic League.

Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Cordelia Reid of Chesapeake; two sons, William Reid III of Virginia Beach and Ronald L. Reid of Chesapeake; two sisters, Mrs. Alberta Davis of Chesapeake and Mrs. Evelyn Stubbefield of Hampton, Va.; two brothers, Frederick McNair and Leroy McNair, both of Virginia Beach; and five grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at 232 Chapel St. by Father Walter C. Barrett. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. A wake will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Hale Funeral Home.
