Countess B. Garrett, 87, died Monday, April 10, 1995, in Leigh Memorial Hospital.
She was a devoted Christian and devoted mother. She was a member of Gwynns Island Church of the Nazarene and faithful friend to many.
Survivors include two daughters, Lois Perkinson of Mathews and Barbara Felton of Norfolk; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces, Catherine Amidon and Frances Dennis; and one nephew, Russell Dennis.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. Burial will follow in H.C. Smither Memorial Cemetery, Hudgins. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
