Richard B. Turner Sr., 68, of the 3500 block of Seay Ave., died April 10, 1995.
Mr. Turner was born in Drewryville, Va., and was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 25 years of service. He was a member of Faith Hope & Charity Community Church and was chairman of the Deacon Board.
Survivors include his wife, the Rev. Alberta M. Turner; two daughters, Virginia T. Revere and Beverly T. White; a son, Richard B. Turner Jr.; a sister, Gloria Allen; two brothers, James C. Turner and Art Turner; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Faith Hope & Charity Community Church, 1207 Hanson Ave., Norfolk, by Elder Callie Richardson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will be at Fisher Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
