Dora Peterson of the 800 block of Goff St., died April 10, 1995.
Mrs. Peterson was born in Norfolk County and was the widow of Lathan Peterson. She was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church in Chesapeake.
Survivors include four daughters, Evelyn Blackwell of Norfolk, Regina Collins of Chesapeake, Barbara Bethea and Doretha Hunte, both of Maryland; three sons, Ray Peterson and Lathan Peterson, both of Norfolk, and Melvin Peterson of Richmond; a sister, Queenie Butts of Chesapeake; 24 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Willow Grove Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Kevin White. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will be at 2915 Hollister Ave. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
