Henry Ralph Noble, 73, of the 4000 block of Pinta Drive, a retired nuclear welder, died April 10, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a native of Athens, W.Va., and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 37 1/2 years. He was a member of Jolliff United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Katherine K. Noble; a daughter, Louise Pogue of Chicago; four sisters, Marie Snellings of Portsmouth, Easter Anderson, Pearl Fink and Charlotte Keaton, all of Princeton, W.Va.; a brother, Charles Noble of Princeton, W.Va;; and a granddaughter, Pamela Jane Daughety of Tampa, Fla.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Won Un and Clayton Robertson. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
