Elsie K. Davis, 66, of the 200 block of Falcon Ave., a retired music teacher for the Norfolk public schools, passed away at home on April 10, 1995, surrounded by family and friends.
Mrs. Davis was born in Bath, N.C., and was a member of Bath Christian Church. She was the widow of Jessie H. Davis.
Survivors include a son, Joel N. Davis of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Janice Kemp of Chesterfield, Va. and Elva Richardson of Williamsburg, Va.; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the Kempsville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
