Kenneth Allen ``Koop'' Braithwaite, of the 1100 block of Hatton St., died April 13, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Braithwaite was born in Norfolk. He was a laborer at Norshipco and attended The Way of the Cross C.O.G.I.C.
Survivors include his parents, Cora Braithwaite and Jesse Braithwaite; three sisters, Deborah Melvin, Angelus Payne and Regina Braithwaite; and five brothers, Jesse Braithwaite Jr., Cornell, Jerome, John and Johnathan Braithwaite, all of Norfolk; a special niece Telwanda Braithwaite; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at The Way of the Cross C.O.G.I.C. in Norfolk by Elder Lewis E. Hines. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Arrangements by Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home. The remains will be ready at 3 p.m. Tuesday for viewing. The family will receive friends at 1106 Hatton St., where they will assemble at noon for the processional.
