Lena Lyles Whaley, 75, of the 700 block of West St., a homemaker, died April 15, 1995, in Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Whaley was born in Wake County, N.C., and was a member of Ahoskie United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Maybry Dudley Whaley; two sons, James M. Whaley and Richard L. Whaley, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Ann L. Todd of Wendell, N.C.; and a grandson, Todd Whaley.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, by Dr. Kenneth Hall. Burial will be in Ahoskie Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Ahoskie Rescue Squad or Ahoskie United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
