William X. Rossiter, 65, of the first block of Cape Point Way, Buxton, N.C., died at his residence on April 15, 1995.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware, he was a graduate of Goldey Beacom College and was retired from G.A.B. Business Service where he had been an insurance adjuster. He was also retired from the National Park Service, Maintenance Division. Mr. Rossiter was a member of Buxton United Methodist Church and was a vetreran, having served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Rossiter was the son of the late William F. and Mary Walsh Rossiter, and the husband of Louise Massey Rossiter of the home.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Bernadette R. Ballantyne of Guilford, Conn., and Anne Rossiter of Longmont, Colo.; three brothers, Martin, Michael and John Rossiter, all of Wilmington, Del.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Buxton United Methodist Church today at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jim Huskins officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Buxton United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or The Charge Parsonage Fund. Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo, N.C. is in charge of arrangements.
