Mary Gwyer Skidmore, 82, of the 200 block of Trotman Road, Camden, and formerly of Virginia Beach, died Sunday, April 16, 1995, in Camden.
She was a native of Baltimore, a member of the Kempsville Women's Club and the Elizabeth River Garden Club. She was the daughter of the late John A. and Rose Mae McCormick Gwyer and the widow of Franklin Skidmore.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ennis Owens of Camden; a son, Frank G. Ennis III of Virginia Beach; a brother, Joseph Gwyer of Baltimore; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at Twiford's Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today for viewing. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, with the Rev. Bobby Owens officiating.
