Augusta I. Kolantis, 89, died April 18, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Kolantis was a native of Nicosia, Cyprus, Greece. She was the widow of Paul A. Kolantis and a member of Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Norfolk.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen P. Savalas of Athens, Greece, Bess P. Decker of Norfolk, Chris K. Joannou of Portsmouth; a son, Anthony P. Kolantis of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation by Father Constantine Rogakos. Burial will be private. A Trisagion service will be at 6 p.m. today in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 7220 Granby St., Norfolk, Va. 23505, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 201 Plume St., Norfolk, Va. 23501.
