Marion Flanders Wiggins, 70, of the 100 block of Riverpoint Crescent, died April 19, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Wiggins, a native of Portsmouth, was the daughter of the late Louis M. and Addie P. Flanders. She was the widow of Albert M. Wiggins, whom she was married to for 45 years until his death in 1987. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Beazley Center.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Jeanne W. and Donald V. King; a granddaughter, Laura Jeanne King, and a grandson, Donald V. King Jr., all of Chesapeake; and four sisters, Mildred F. Garris of San Diego, Calif., Margaret F. Glynn of Portsmouth, Merle F. Shepherd of Carrollton, Va., and Madlyne F. Baker of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Clara Gestwick. The family will be at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and other times at 3201 Barksdale Road, Chesapeake.
