Jasper ``Jack'' Laine, died April 20, 1995, in Petersburg.
He was retired from Allied Chemical Corporation and was a member of West End Baptist Church.
Mr. Laine is survived by his wife, Lousie E. Laine; son, the Rev. Donald W. Laine, and his wife, Joyce, of Virginia Beach; stepson, Larry Elmore of Mechanicsville; stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Elmore Leonard of Virginia Beach; brother, Liston Laine, and sister, Mrs. Gladys Walker of Colonial Heights; seven gradchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg, on Saturday, April 22, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Interment will be at Blandford Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of West End Baptist Church, 1017 W. Washington St., Petersburg, Va. 23803.
