Mrs. Nopoulos was born in San Diego, Calif. She was an executive secretary for Family Service.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Nopoulos; her mother, Mae Hanner of Stuart, Iowa; a sister, Barbara Shestak of Gold River, Calif.; and a brother, Joseph Hanner of Pannora, Iowa.
The body is being sent from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Dr. Chapel, to Link Funeral Home, Stuart, Iowa, for services and burial.
