WILLIAM R. AIKEN

William ``Bill'' R. Aiken, 45, a sheet metal mechanic, died Saturday, April 22, 1995, in Riverside Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Aiken was born in Norfolk and had been a Peninsula resident for 11 years. He was employed with NADEP for over 20 years and was a member of Warwick Moose Lodge 1711.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Aiken of Newport News; his mother, Frances Aiken Jones of Ocala, Fla.; one sister, Linda A. Altman of Ocala; one half-brother, Larry Jones of Arizona; a niece and nephew, Lynn and Charles Thomas; and a host of friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Peninsula Funeral Home by the Rev. Michael Condrey. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials to the American Heart Association, 753 Thimble Shoals Blvd., Suite 2-B, Newport News, Va. 23606.
