James ``Milton'' Copeland, 71, of 5920 Poplar Hall Drive, Apartment 105W, Norfolk, died April 20, 1995, at DePaul Hospital in Norfolk.
Mr. Copeland was born in Hertford, N.C. He was retired from Associated Transport Trucking Co. after 30 years of service and retired from Central Baptist Church in Norfolk. He was a member of Teamsters Local 822.
Survivors include his wife, Almeater C. Copeland; three stepdaughters, Ethel Dawson of Brooklyn, N.Y., Helen Credle of Portsmouth and Jean Kimbrough of Norfolk; 13 stepgrandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 1995 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Berkley by the Rev. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence. Hale Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
