Ronald L. Harklerode Sr., 38, of the 500 block of Oaklette Drive, a self-employed carpenter, died April 22, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mr. Harklerode was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and moved to Virginia in 1986. He attended Austintown Fitch High School and Mahoning County Joint Vocational School. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and also enjoyed auto racing and camping.
Survivors include his son, Ronald L. Harklerode Jr. of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; sisters, Nancy Motsko of Poland, Ohio, and Joyce Rodriguez of Lantana, Fla. He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald Lamar Harklerode and Dorothy Moore Harklerode and two brothers, James and Howard.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lane Funeral Home, Austintown, Ohio, by the Rev. Gary Miller. Burial will be in North Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
