Donald Lee Gwaltney Jr., 35, of the 800 block of Buck St., died April 23, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Gwaltney was born in Norfolk, Va., and was a carman for Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Survivors include wife, Anita P. Gwaltney; parents, Shelby P. and Donald Lee Gwaltney Sr. of Suffolk; two sisters, Donna Nobles and her husband, Robert of South Mills, N.C., and Charlotte Gwaltney of Suffolk; maternal grandparents, Mary and Bill Johnson of Corapeake, N.C.; paternal grandmother, Martha Gwaltney of Greenville, N.C.; niece, Terina Nobles of South Mills, N.C.; nephew, Lee Nobles of South Mills, N.C.; and several other nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, April 26, 1995, at 3 p.m. by Pastor Tony Peaks in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be at 114 Pitch Kettle Circle, Suffolk at other times.
