Regarding ``McNamara's closure'' (letter, April 22): It is good that Robert McNamara finally concedes the point that we were wrong to be involved in Vietnam. However, the country needed this admission more than 20 years ago when it could have saved 58,000 American lives, not now when Mr. McNamara wishes to make $58 million.
