Edith F. Warren, 73, a retired teachers aide, died April 25, 1995.
Mrs. Warren was born in Southampton County, Va. She retired from Portsmouth Public Schools, was a member of Bryants Baptist Church, Courtland, and the widow of James Warren.
Survivors include four daughters, Joan A. Jones and Vanessa S. Wilson, both of Portsmouth, Arrdase Warren Bartholomeow of Louisiana and Millicent King of Norfolk; a sister, Mary White, and a brother, McKinley Jones, both of Suffolk; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at New First Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by Dr. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Serenity Funeral Home and 10 a.m. to noon at the church. Family and friends will assemble at 3517 County St. for the processional to the church.
