JULIAN SPENCER

Julian Spencer, 79, of the 1100 block of Bethel Road, died April 27, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.

He was a native of Englehard, N.C., and was a fireman with the Norfolk Naval Base. He was a charter member of People's Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Babb Spencer; three daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Jim George of Wichita Falls, Tex., Diane and Richard Justice of Chesapeake, and Wanda and Marc Olsen of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; four grandchildren, Wesley Shepherd, Michele George, Denise Parks, and Richard Justice; and four great-grandchildren, Brittney Shepherd, Brian Justice, John Allen and Ashley Parks.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Gene Woods. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and other times at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to People's Baptist Church, 1200 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, Va. 23320.
