Inez Lee West, 92, of the Parson's Residential Care Center, Deep Creek Road, died Wednesday, April 26, 1995.
She was born Oct. 14, 1902, in Moyock, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Moses and Cora Steward Lee and the wife of the late I. Fitzhugh West. She was a homemaker, a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, a church organist for 50 years, and a member of the Home Demonstration Club in Moyock, where she held several offices in past years.
She is survived by two daughters, Belle West Robins and her husband, Emmett, of Norfolk, and Birchen ``Bert'' West Groomes of Chesapeake; five grandsons, John Timothy Robins of Norfolk, James Guilford Groomes III, Walter West Groomes, Stephen Sanford Groomes and Michael Lee Groomes, all of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Fellowship Baptist Church by the Rev. James Harrington. Burial will be in Moyock Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Twiford's Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 929 S. Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church, Tulls Creek Road, Moyock, N.C. 27958.
