Virgilia B. Gironella, 78, of the 3800 block of Forest Glen Road, died April 27, 1995, in Sentara Bayside Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a native of the Philippines. She was the widow of Francisco Gironella and a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Cynthia McEwen of California, Trini Breiwick of Minnesota, Aida Adriano and Ofelia Botones, both of the Philippines, and Virginia Cunningham of Virginia Beach; three sons, Franco, Fernando and Felixberto Gironella, all of the Philippines; one sister; 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m.
