Thelma Louise Walker, 68, of the 4500 block of S. 31st St., died of cancer April 25, 1995, at Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Walker was born in Columbia, N.C. She was a retired self-employed seamstress after 35 years and was retired for 10 years. She was a member of Homestead Baptist Church, Washington, D.C.
Survivors include her husband, Kenolious D. Walker; four sons, Joseph E. Hill Jr., Robert Allen Hill, Thomas Lee Hill and Milton Darnell Hill; five sisters, Evelyn Houston, Helen Redd, Ida Cade, Barbara McClease and Gloria M. Woolard; two brothers, David A. McClease and Luther McClease; grandparents, Charlotte Dunbar and Lesley Dunbar; and 17 grandchildren. She was the daughter of Ora L. Hawkins and Luther McClease.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope UCC, 145 Liberty St., Norfolk, by the Rev. Shelton Smith. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Arrangements by Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home.
