Annie Laurie Pierce Knight, 76, of Route 1, Box 6, a homemaker, died April 27, 1995, in Obici Hospital.
Mrs. Knight was born in Gates County, N.C. She was a member of Eureka Baptist Church, Corapeake, Ida K. Brinkley Sunday School Class and Fannie Knight King Circle.
Survivors include her husband, Martin Elijah Knight; two sons, James Pierce Knight of Durham, N.C., and Martin Luther Knight of Corapeake, N.C.; a sister, Katie Pierce Overman of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; and grandchildren, Clara Elizabeth Knight, Emily Kathleen Knight and Martin Ryder Knight. She was predeceased by her parents, Willie Benton Pierce and Charles Herbert Pierce.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Eureka Baptist Church by the Rev. Barrett Long. Burial will be in Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Hill Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Gates County Rescue Squad or to Eureka Baptist Church.
