Edmund ``K'' Thomas, 51, died April 20, 1995, at St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown.
Born June 7, 1943 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, he was the son of Kenneth ``T'' Thomas of Hollywood and the late Imogene Cretora Swihart Thomas. He is the husband of Angela Marie Hammond Thomas of Hollywood, whom he married in 1962 in Perry, Michigan. Mr. Thomas graduated from Perry High School in 1961 and from B.S.E.E. Naval Post Graduate School in 1975. Mr. Thomas was in the navy for 22 years and was an engineering manager for Tracor. He enjoyed music, computers and gardening.
Including his wife he is survived by a daughter, Yvonne D. Blevins of Chesapeake, Va.; two sons, Brett A. Thomas of Richmond, Va. and Cameron L. Thomas of Chesapeake. He was the brother of Audrey E. Truman of Morley, Michigan. Mr. Thomas is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 24, at Victory Baptist Church in Charlotte Hall, Md. with Rev. Robert W. Kyner, pastor officiating. Interment followed in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham. Pallbearers were Thomas Jackson, George Rose, Bill Palmer, James Smith, Gary Craven and Robert Baker. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church, P.O. Box 98, Charlotte Hall, Md. 20622. Arrangements were provided by Mattingley Gardiner Funeral Home in Leonardtown, Md.
