Beverly Fennell Kay, 86, of the 2800 block of Forehand Road, died Saturday, April 29, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Kay was a native of Portsmouth and had lived most of his life in Virginia Beach and Norfolk. He was the son of the late George Wright and Maude Elizabeth Kay. He was a retired manager for Peoples Drug Stores and also had worked for Harrell's Pharmacy in Virginia Beach.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Virginia Beach and a 50-year member of Corinthian Masonic Lodge (NU)266 AF & AM in Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife, Leneve Spence Kay. A daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Kay Oliver and Thomas Martin Oliver Sr. of Chesapeake. One brother, Judson Kay of Virginia Beach. Two grandsons, Michael C. Oliver of New York City, N.Y., and Thomas Martin Oliver Jr. of Charlotte, N.C. A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be held Monday at 3 P.M. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in the Creeds Area of Virginia Beach. Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
