Ruby Elizabeth Hipp, 81, of the 800 block of Cedar Road, died Saturday, April 29, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Hipp was a native of Charlotte, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sharp and widow of Andrew Lewis Hipp. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Ann Hipp of Virginia Beach. Three sons, Raymond Lewis Hipp of Moyock, N.C., Reginald Edward Hipp of Chesapeake and Albert H. Hipp of Norfolk. One brother, Howard Sharp of Charlotte, N.C., seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, on Monday evening from 7 until 8 p.m. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
