Floyd Ellington Adams, 69, of 713 S. Lynnhaven Rd., died Thursday, April 27, 1995, in his residence. A native of Norfolk, he was a life-long resident of Virginia Beach. He retired in 1988 after 50 years from Adams Service Company, and was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, John E. and Christine Adams of Virginia Beach; one brother-in-law, William Morris of Virginia Beach; three nieces, Sarah Hillenbrand, Jane Goldfarb, and Susan Rigney; and two nephews, William Morris Jr. and Robert Morris.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday, May 1, 1995, at 2 p.m. in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, 2020 Laskin Rd., by Rev. Richard J. Yates. The family will be in the Meastas Funeral Home Baltic Avenue Chapel tonight from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad Building Fund, P.O.
