International Family Entertainment Inc. said its Cable Health Club network signed agreements with a consortium of cable-TV operators that will put the health and fitness channel into the homes of another 4 million cable subscribers. Virginia Beach-based IFE said the agreement with the Telesynergy Inc. consortium, which includes a dozen cable operators, pushes Cable Health's subscriber count to 8.5 million. The network was launched by IFE, parent of The Family Channel, in October 1993. Cable Health has been losing money, but its losses have been narrowing as subscribership grows. by CNB
