Fern Yeager Taggart, 76, died May 4, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
She was born in North Carolina and was the widow of Leonard George Taggart. She was retired from the N.C. Zoological Park in Asheboro, N.C.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail T. Finan of Narberth, Pa. and Linda A. Dukas of Chesapeake; two sisters, Lois Cunningham of North Wildwood, N.J. and Jo Guthrie of Carmel, Calif.; and two granddaughters, Jennifer Finan of Bozeman, Mont. and Despina Dukas of Chesapeake.
The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or a charity of one's choice.
