Thomas Jefferson Britt Jr., 36, of 30446 Hunt Club Road, died May 3, 1995.
Jeff was a native of Franklin and was an electrician for Reliable Electrical Company. He was a member of the Church of God, Blackwater Hunt Club and the N.R.A.
Survivors include a daughter, Megan Denise Hoggard of North Carolina; two sons, Tommy Britt III and Timmy Britt, both of Carrsville; his mother, Barbara Glover Umphlette and her husband, Bobby of Franklin; his father, Thomas J. Britt Sr. and his wife, Marilyn of Windsor; three sisters, Sharon Davis of Gates County, N.C., Kathy Wheeler and Angela Umphlette, both of Franklin; two brothers, Ricky Britt of Littleton, N.C., and Bobby Umphlette Jr. of Franklin; three stepbrothers, Julian White of Windsor, Lee White of Franklin and Vernon White of Chesapeake; several aunts, uncles and cousins, including a special aunt and uncle, Angelena and Lester Keech of Franklin; and a special girlfriend, Theresa Harrison and her daughter, Lisa.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Randy Wooten. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and suggest memorials be made to the United Virginia Chapter of Hemophilia Foundation, 980 Husting Terrace, Chesterfield, Va. 23832.
