A 36-year-old Isle of Wight man was electrocuted about noon Wednesday when he touched a hot wire while working on a control box at Union Camp Corp. in Isle of Wight County, near Franklin.
T.J. Britt, 36, was working for Reliable Electrical Constructors of Prince George County, an independent contractor for Union Camp.
A spokesman for Union Camp said the accident happened in the northern end of the facility. An internal investigation has begun.
