Christopher John McMullen, 9, of the 100 block of Old Ferry Road, died May 5, 1995, at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
He was a native of Norfolk, Va., and son of Brenda Johnson McMullen and John R. McMullen Jr. of the home. He was a student at White Oak Elementary School.
Other survivors include his brother, Kevin Corey McMullen of the home; maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Louise Johnson of Edenton; paternal grandparents, John R. and Elenor McMullen of Lewistown, Pa.; and paternal great-grandmother, Larue Leoris of Fredericksburg, Va.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Windsor Cemetery, Windsor, N.C., by the Rev. Jack Sawyer. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Edenton, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
