Arthur Raymond ``Artie'' Norvell Jr., 36, of 2101 Chesapeake Ave., died May 7, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Norvell was a lifelong resident of Chesapeake.
Survivors include his mother, Ililda Norvell Toussaint, and his stepfather, Roland J. Toussaint, both of Chesapeake; four sisters, Jane Burbage and Bobbie Norvell, both of Chesapeake, and Carol Jones and Debbie Madsen, both of Moyock, N.C.; five brothers, Larry Norvell of Cawton, Okla., Donnie, Ronnie, Merrill and Mark Norvell, all of Chesapeake; and his grandmother, Sudie Umphlett of Ahoskie, N.C.
The family will receive friends May 10, 1995, from 3 to 6 p.m. at 2101 Chesapeake Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tidewater AIDS Crisis Task Force, 740 Duke St., Norfolk 23510.
