MARY E. INGRAM

Mary E. Ingram, 72, of the 100 block of Howard St., died May 7, 1995, in her home.

Mrs. Ingram was born in Hamlet, N.C., and was the widow of Oscar Ingram Sr. She was a laborer at Norshipco for two years. She was a former member of St. John Baptist Church in Portsmouth and attended Ebenezer Baptist Church, Portsmouth.

Survivors include two daughters, Ophelia I. Jones and Mildred Ann Smith and three sons, Oscar Ingram Jr., Ronnie Ingram Sr. and Jerome Ingram, all of Portsmouth; two sisters, Jeanie Bruce of Hamlet, N.C., and Almeater Harris of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. Ben A. Beamer and the Rev. John E. Jones. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. today in the funeral home.
