NationsBank and San Francisco-based Bank of America have agreed to a joint purchase of MECA Software Inc. from H&R Block for $35 million, the companies announced Wednesday. MECA Software of Fairfield, Conn., develops software products designed to help individual consumers and small business owners manage their finances.
