Howard Warren Beecher I, age 59, U.S.N. retired of the 8500 block of Keene Rd. died Tuesday, May 9, 1995 in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy. Mr. Beecher was a native of North Brunswick, N.J., and a life long resident of Norfolk.
Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Gaffney, Patricia Robinson, Nancy Crapps and Rhonda DeVoe; two sons, Howard II and Michael Beecher, all of the tidewater area; and 14 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Chapel in Portsmouth Naval Hospital at 7 p.m. Monday, May 15, 1995. The family will gather at the home of Sharon Gaffney, 255 North Palmyra Drive, Virginia Beach following the service.
