Barbara Fulford Bowser of the 2800 block of Mapleton Ave., a retired teacher, died May 10, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was born in Norfolk and retired three years ago from the Norfolk Public Schools after 28 years.
Survivors include two sisters, Harriett F. Goodrich of Chesapeake and Lucille A. Layne of Norfolk; a brother, Daniel Brown Fulford of Landover, Md.; and an aunt, Kathryn B. Bibbins of Norfolk.
A memorial service will be conducted at noon Saturday in Hale Funeral Home by Father Harrell Cobb. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Assistance Program of Grace Episcopal Church.
