Phyllis M. Fields, 76, of the 300 block of Geranium Lane, a retired bookkeeper, died May 11, 1995, in Chesapeake.
She was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and was the widow of William G. Fields. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister and her husband, Geraldine A. and Walter Howard of Moyock, N.C.; a sister-in-law and her husband, Elsie and Arthur Allard of Cape Charles, Va.; a brother-in-law and his wife, Howard and Lois James of Portsmouth; two sisters-in-law, Ruby Barrett of Charleston, S.C., and Isabelle Barrett of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Joseph T. Carson III. Burial will be private in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church.
