Annie Ayers Ferrell, 88, a retired secretary, died May 15, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Ferrell was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Robert L. Ferrell. She was retired from the General Adjustment Bureau. She was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church, the Laura Fenn Bible Class and United Methodist Women.
Survivors include a sister, Catherine A. Stevenson of Norfolk; four nieces, Marybelle Lufkin, Sue Still, both of Victoria, Va., Cynthia Holloway of Leesburg, Fla., and JoAnne Stevenson of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Dr. Charles Smith and the Rev. Francis Collins. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
