Harvey C. Roberts Sr. died May 12, 1995, in Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was a native of Hopewell, Va.
Survivors include one daughter, Violet R. Winston Mayfield of Hamden, Conn.; one son, Harvey C. Roberts Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.; grandchild, Angela Winston Dickerson; five great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, a devoted niece, Ruth Jordan of Norfolk; and a lifelong friend, Howard Austin of Goochland, Va.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday, May 18, 1995, at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Calvin James in First Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Riddick Funeral Service in charge. The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and at the home of Ruth Jordan, 940 Marietta Ave.
