WORTH REMICK HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BOARD VICE PRESIDENT

Good food. Good time. Good cause. And hopefully - good weather. That's what Worth Remick is offering those who attend Sunday's Habitat for Humanity fund-raiser at the 67th Street Officer's Club. The menu is barbecue and chicken, and the band is Hotcakes.

According to Remick, who is a vice president of the Habitat for Humanity local board of directors, money raised from the event will help build two houses in Virginia Beach. ``As a real estate broker, it's kind of up my alley,'' he said. ``I really believe in its mission and cause.''

An active guy who likes to stay on the go, Remick spent 12 days this spring traveling around France with a teacher friend and a group of high school students. ``Talk about active,'' he said. ``Those kids . . . I lost three pounds going to France!''
