STEPHEN A. HAMILTON

Stephen Alexander Hamilton, 37, of the 170 block of Danford Road, died Thursday, May 18, 1995, in his home.

He was born in Albuquerque, N.M., on September 2, 1957. He was a member of the St. James the Fisherman Episcopal Church of Shallotte, N.C., and was very active in Boy Scouts. He earned the Eagle Scout Award, and was also awarded the Order of the Arrow. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Masich on April 15, 1995.

He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Masich of Bolivia; two brothers, Stan Hamilton of Crowly, La., and Michael Masich of Chesapeake, Va.; a sister, Monica Masich of Boiling Spring Lakes, N.C.; his maternal grandmother, Elsie Robbins of Boiling Spring Lakes, N.C.; and an aunt, Margaret G. Murphey of Ventress, La.

A funeral service will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday at St. James the Fisherman Episcopal Church by the Rev. Richard Warner. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service Chapel, Supply, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Beth Mensing Memorial Kidney Home, 920 South 7th Street, Minneapolis, Minn. 55415.
