Lenious Walter White Sr., 85, of the 6300 block of Glenoak Drive, died May 16, 1995, in Norfolk Community Hospital.
Mr. White was born in Windsor, Va., to the late Eddie and Mattie White, and was predeceased by his wife, Janie White. He retired from the Naval Supply Center and was a member of New Light Lodge 196. He was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church and was on its trustee board.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeanette White of Virginia Beach and Mittie Regina White of Norfolk; a son, William A. White of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Queen Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Howard Purvis. Burial will be in White's Cemetery, Windsor. Friends may join the family at 6330 Glenoak Drive, Norfolk. The body will be placed in the church at 9 a.m. Monday. Hale Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
