APPRECIATION WEEK

Mayor S. Chris Jones held a proclamation signing Wednesday, May 17, in City Council Chambers, in honor of Industry Appreciation Week, which is today through Saturday.

In recognition of the industries in Suffolk and their commitment and contributions to the community, the City of Suffolk's Department of Economic Development invited several employers from the industrial community to participate in the signing, including Gerry Chesser, Planters Lifesavers; Dan Carley, Penn Engineering; Doug McConnell, IDA chairman; Ralph Roberts, Lipton Tea; and Peter Nichols, Allied Colloids.
