Player Fay Proffitt, 1, of the 600 block of Cherokee Road, died May 19, 1995, in Norfolk.
She was a native of Portsmouth.
Survivors include her parents, Timothy A. Proffitt and Cynthia J. Flenner; maternal grandparents, Clayton R. and Alma Fay Flenner; paternal grandparents, William E. and Bonnie S. Proffitt and William L. and Doris E. Crawford; six great-grandparents; one great-great-grandmother; and many aunts and uncles.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. John W. Godfrey. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at 153 Yorkshire Road, Portsmouth. Contributions may be made to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
