Alvin S. ``Jack'' Meekins, 68, of the 500 block of Austin St., died May 19, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Meekins was born in Manteo, N.C. He retired from the Ford motor plant in Norfolk, was a member of Zion Grace United Methodist Church and United Auto Workers Union Local 919 and the widower of Judith Marie Meekins.
Survivors include a brother, Clifton ``Pete'' Meekins Sr. of Norfolk; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. David N. Clay. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Dr. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
