Gertrude S. Lash, 70, of the 100 block of Sykes Ave., died May 22, 1995, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Lash was born in Newport News, Va., and was a retired sales clerk for Murphy's Department Store. She attended Biltmore Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband, William D. Lash; three daughters, Tina S. Stewart of Portsmouth, Linda L. Rigby of Norfolk, and Ann G. Bowen of Corova Beach, N.C.; two grandchildren, Jason B. Stewart and Joyce B. Matchunis, both of Portsmouth; and great-granddaughter, Candace G. Matchunis of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, May 24, 1995, at 12:30 p.m. by the Rev. T.M. Frye in Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
